Using the Holy Mother, recognized around the world as an eclectic symbol of woman, inspiration, motherhood and devotion, ‘Veneration of the Holy Mother’ is a full length motion picture ballet fantasy. It is set in the flamboyant, edgy world of 1986 Key West, Florida on the eve of the autumnal carnival celebration, locally known as ‘Fantasy Fest.’

Piccolo Productions is raising funds to jump-start dance workshops with choreographer , Chris Houston.

The setting is the edgy world of 1986 Key West on the eve  'Fantasy Fest' carnival celebration.

The musical score defines the character, structure and storyline of the ballet with an eclectic blend of melodies featuring American songbook classics, Gorecki's 'Totus Tuus,' original compositions, iconic disco hits, a Puccini aria and the haunting voices of Ofra Haza and Miriam Makeba.
